Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the website africaafya.co.ke and the AfyaRad teleradiology platform operated by Africa Afya Healthcare Limited ("we", "us", "our"), Nairobi, Kenya.

1. Acceptance

By accessing this website or using AfyaRad, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use our services.

2. Services

Africa Afya Healthcare Limited develops and operates AfyaRad, an AI-assisted teleradiology marketplace that connects hospitals and imaging centres to a network of credentialed, licensed radiologists for the purpose of producing structured, signed radiology reports.

3. User Accounts

Accounts may be created by:

All users must be authorised healthcare professionals or facility representatives. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Payments and Billing

AfyaRad operates on a per-study pricing model. Facilities are billed per radiology report delivered. Pricing depends on modality and selected turnaround time and is communicated clearly before each study submission is confirmed.

Prepaid study bundles are available for high-volume facilities. All payments are processed securely through PesaPal and support M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer. Invoices are issued in Kenyan Shillings.

Radiologists are paid per completed and approved report on a monthly cycle. Payment terms are communicated during the onboarding process.

5. Intellectual Property

The AfyaRad software, AI models, design, branding and all associated materials are owned exclusively by Africa Afya Healthcare Limited. No part of the platform may be reproduced, copied or redistributed without prior written consent.

6. Clinical Responsibility

AfyaRad facilitates the delivery of radiology reports by licensed radiologists. The reporting radiologist bears full professional responsibility for every report produced through the platform. AfyaRad's AI-assisted features are assistive tools only and do not independently diagnose medical conditions. Africa Afya Healthcare Limited is not liable for clinical decisions made on the basis of reports delivered through the platform.

7. Radiologist Standards

All radiologists on the AfyaRad network must maintain valid registration with their relevant professional body and comply with the platform's quality standards. Africa Afya Healthcare Limited reserves the right to suspend or remove any radiologist from the network for quality, conduct or compliance reasons.

8. Privacy

Use of AfyaRad is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, regulatory violation or conduct that compromises patient safety or data security.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.
